Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi and her husband Paul made adjustments to their investment portfolio last month, new filings showed.
Pelosi, one of the most closely monitored politicians when it comes to investing, bought shares of two semiconductor giants, Nvidia (NASDAQ:NVDA) and Broadcom (NASDAQ:AVGO).
Specifically, the former Speaker of the House purchased 10,000 shares of Nvidia, valued between $1 million and $5 million, and 20 call options on Broadcom with an $800 strike price, expiring on June 20, 2025, also valued between $1 million and $5 million.
Nvidia and Broadcom have both witnessed substantial gains this year, with their shares up 154% and 52% year-to-date, respectively, driven by a surge in AI-related spending.
Simultaneously, the filings showed that 84-year-old Pelosi reduced its Tesla (NASDAQ:TSLA) stake, selling 2,500 shares of the electric vehicle (EV) maker, with a total transaction value of between $250,001 and $500,000.
Pelosi also sold 2,000 Visa (NYSE:V) shares, valued between $500,000 and $1 million.
The transactions were notified between June 24 and July 1.
